Frank Abney

Frank Abney is a writer, director, and animator that has animated on blockbuster hits and award- winning films including Frozen and Big Hero 6, Kung Fu Panda 3 & 4, The Boss Baby, Coco, Incredibles 2, Toy Story 4, Soul, and Spiderman: Across The Spiderverse. Abney also served as executive producer on the 2020 Academy Award-winning short "Hair Love" for Sony Pictures Animation. 

Most recently, Abney wrote and directed Netflix's "Canvas," which was honored with the first NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Animated Short, lent his talents to develop an original animated feature for Netflix, and wrote, directed, and animated the award winning short film, "Black Man, Black Man", starring Yvette Nicole Brown and Aldis Hodge.
