Jason Richardson, the CEO of the pop culture production company/news site J1 Studios, is a director, comic book writer and artist, a radio and web show personality, voice actor, a game developer, and the founder of J1-Con, the longest running Black-owned anime convention in the US! Jason Richardson is an Executive Producer on the anime Ajaka: Lost in Rome, as well as a multi-award–winner (with an astounding 32+ awards) and an entry in the Encyclopedia of Black Comics, a book by Eisner Award winner, Dr. Sheena Howard, that showcases influential Black folk in the comic book industry.
