Karla Medrano is a wife, mom, nurse, voice actor, creator and founder of Blaq Girl Comics and The Zelda Awards. Karla's mission is to amplify stories featuring Black female superheroes, ensuring that young girls of color recognize their own worth and potential. Through her work, she inspires them to believe they can reach for the stars and achieve anything they set their minds to. And that, if they wanted to, they could fly.
