CeCe Yuan
CeCe Yuan is a Chinese American fantasy writer and actor born in Beijing and based in Boston. After graduating from Boston University, she traveled solo through 19 countries teaching ESL, a journey that deepened her understanding of identity, transformation, and the unseen forces that shape our lives. Inspired by Kevin Kwan’s Crazy Rich Asians, she has pursued acting roles in immersive theater, commercials, and film in Singapore, Los Angeles, and Boston, an experience that taught her the importance of creating stories for Asian American voices and platforms. A longtime admirer of Philip Pullman’s The Golden Compass, CeCe is drawn to stories exploring magic, morality, and the human heart. A 200-hour certified yogi with a love for ocean and forest bathing, she cherishes sacred solitude, compassionate community, dancing to ’90s hip-hop, and belly laughs.
